Noise Pop is proud to present the cello-tastic stylings of Rasputina. Since 1996 this trio of performers have been blending cello and classical music with modern rock music. But the quirkiness doesn’t stop there. With a love of Victorian culture that borders on fetishistic, they often can be seen wearing corsets, petticoats and top hats. I prefer bowler hats, to be honest. Their music is as folksy as it is progressive. You can hear a tremor of angst through their cello-driven songs. They’ll be performing alongside Daniel Knox, another anachronistic stylist.
